Madonna is Awesome (and super late and overpriced)
I had a great time getting somewhere early/on time - my bad. The show was supposed to start at 8p, and I arrived around 7p, giving us time for food, drinks, bathroom breaks, etc. However, The Old 97's had other plans - she didn't come out until 9:40p, or so, wanting us to eat, drink, and pee more. She kicked off with some of her new hits, which actually sounded better live. Her dancers and stage were top-notch, excellent, and entertaining throughout. The Old 97's herself looked and sounded great, in tip-top shape!
We had excellent seats, but I wouldn't pay over 200 next time for them. The ticket price was closer to 400, with tax. We didn't leave until closer to midnight - remember, it was a Monday night. Last time I saw The Old 97's was for 60$ tix, way up in the nosebleeds in 2006, for the Confessions tour. I had just as much fun with those seats.
